4.00pm Market in Royal Avenue Gardens (RAG) and the Quay opens.

4.00pm Mulled wine stall in RAG opens.

4.00pm Ukelele band on the Bandstand.

5.15-5.45pm Carol singing at the Christmas Tree in RAG with the BRNC band.

5.50pm Mayor arrives in RAG and the opening ceremony takes place with the switching on of the Christmas lights.

6.00pm Father Christmas arrives at the Boatfloat!

6.10-8.00pm Father Christmas meets the children in RAG.

6.30pm Live music – Phoenix on the Bandstand.

8.00pm Close.

Many shops will be open late this evening for Christmas shopping.

 

Saturday 30th November

 

FREE PARK AND RIDE RUNNING TODAY 10am - 8pm.

10.00am-8.00pm Markets in Royal Avenue Gardens and the Quay.

10.00am-4.00pm Christmas Crafters market in the Old Market Square.

10.30am-2.00pm A Very Flavel Christmas open from with activities for young and old.

10.45-11.00am Dartmouth Pre School carols on the Bandstand.

12.00 noon Mulled wine stall in RAG opens.

1.00pm onwards Entertainment by Les Ellis - walkabout.

1.00pm onwards Stilt walkers perform - walkabout.

1.15pm Elphick the Clown in RAG.

2.00pm Best dressed Christmas dog competition at the Bandstand.

2.00pm Dart Valley Stompers - strolling musicians.

3.00pm Music by Tallulah on the Bandstand.

4.00pm Elphick the Clown in RAG.

4.30pm Music by Mick and Lucy in RAG.

5.00pm Lantern procession assembles inside the Old Market Square.

5.30pm Lantern procession starts from the Old Market Square.

6.15pm Lantern procession finishes in RAG.
